Our campsites are well-groomed and spacious (please notice the abundance of grass).   Our customers tell us that our restrooms, bathhouse and laundry are the cleanest, most sanitized they have experienced. We listen to our customers and continually upgrade our facilities. For example, you will be pleased to know that during this past off-seaon, we paved all of the roads in the camp.

Our Beautiful Grounds

Sandy Shores Campground is the most convenient campground at Silver Lake Sand Dunes. We are next door to the Silver Lake State Park, which has the only concrete boat ramp in the area. Adjacent to the campground to the east is the Parkside Grocery, which is the best stocked convenience store in Silver Lake. Parkside has most of  the supplies you will need for overnight or for an extended stay. Food, drinks and souvenirs are just a short walk from your campsite.  

Sandy Shores is the only campground at Silver Lake to have its own private beach. We have 180 feet of private sandy beach in addition to a dock that has 30 boat slips. (Boat slips are available for rent by reservation on a first come basis.) The beach and dock are just across the street; less than 200 yards from our entrance.

Our playground has swings, slides, monkey bars, volleyball, basketball and much more. For beginning swimmers or pros, the heated swimming pool provides summer fun for everyone. The pool is operational from Memorial weekend thru Labor Day weekend during the hours posted.
